OPINION:
Generally speaking, Journalism and Media corporations in the Arab World are mouthpieces of the ruling regimes, including private TV Channels and Newspapers due to the alliance between businessmen and decision makers.

There are four daily Newspapers in occupied Palestine; Al-Quds (Jerusalem-based), Alhayat Al-Jadida, Al-Ayyam (West Bank-based ) and Falastin Gaza-based). I have never subscribed to local Newspapers because they are mouthpieces --in different degrees-- and lack of free opinions and articles.
Ma'an News Agency has been introduced as an independent local agency, but the contents do not touch the Palestinian cause, nevertheless, It is the most balanced news website which publish various opinions and news.
Best Newspapers: (*)
As an Observer, The Arab world lack of independent Journalism, but I personally noticed that there are three balanced Newspapers:
Al-Akhbar Newspaper, Lebanon-based
Al-Quds Al-Arabi Newspaper London-based
Assafir Newspaper, Lebanon-based
Al-Quds Al-Arabi characterized by various and almost comprehensive news throughout the Arab World, whereas, the editorial line is fluctuating.
Al-Akhbar Newspaper is not only the 'voice of the left' in Lebanon, but also throughout the Arab World and support the Palestinian cause. it is revolutionary, anti-imperialistic but generally lack of variation.
Assafir Newspaper is the best cultural newspaper among the Arab Journals, there are three weekly editions; Assafir Al-Arabi, Shabab (Youth) and Falastin (Palestine).
The three mentioned Newspapers are banned in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
