Al-Quds radio stopped streaming amid the bombing of the Shawa and Husari media tower, which has been hit in previous military assaults on Gaza.
Journalists reporting on the strikes say they are hearing shelling from naval warships.

The Al-Shawa building houses a number of foreign and Palestinian media organizations, including Ma'an News Agency's headquarters in the Gaza Strip.
Three al-Quds TV journalists were moderately injured.
Witnesses said Israel's aerial bombardment of Gaza continued with intensity overnight. Israeli shelling pummeled Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, while fighter jets struck southern Gaza.
