Clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians continued late into Sunday night amid anger in the West Bank over Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

On Sunday evening, Israeli forces closed the road between Hebron and Halhul in the southern West Bank, sparking clashes with youths who threw rocks at Israeli troops.
Soldiers fired rubber bullets and tear gas, and three Palestinians were taken to the al-Ahli Hospital, said Red Crescent director Nasser Qabaja.
One was wounded by rubber bullets, another fell from after fainting from tear gas and the third suffered from tear gas inhalation, Qabaja told Ma'an.
In the northern West Bank, Palestinians clashed with Israeli forces late in to the night on Sunday near Huwwara checkpoint in Nablus.
Israeli forces fired tear gas and rubber coated bullets, and detained five Palestinians including two brothers from the Kalboneh family, a Ma'an reporter said.
Palestinian Medical Relief director Ghassan Hamdan told Ma'an that three Palestinians were wounded by rubber bullets and taken to the Rafedia Hospital.
Locals reported clashes with settlers in villages across Nablus, including Burin, Burqa, Furik and Urif. Also overnight, Jewish settlers set fire to a Mosque in Urif overnight, a PA official told Ma'an.

Protests continue across West Bank, 54 injured
Over 50 people were injured on Sunday during protests in the West Bank and East Jerusalem against Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, a Ma'an correspondent and witnesses said.

At Qalandia checkpoint, one protester was wounded by a rubber bullet as Palestinian youths threw stones and Molotov cocktails at troops.
In Hebron, hundreds of university students and staff marched in solidarity with the Gaza Strip. In Arrub village, Israeli forces arrested Emad Khader Nofal Badawi, 22, witnesses said.
Youths threw stones at Israeli soldiers, who fired tear gas and sound bombs at the villagers.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces fired multiple tear gas canisters and rubber bullets at protestors who had gathered near an Israeli watchtower by Rachel's Tomb, injuring 33 people, a Red crescent official said.
Youths threw stones at the watchtower in protest against Israel's ongoing attacks on Gaza. Eight people required treatment at Beit Jala hospital.
A medical official in Bethlehem Abed Jaafri told Ma'an that ambulances were on standby to treat any wounded demonstrators.
Over 50 people gathered by Damascus gate in East Jerusalem to protest Israel's assault, the Palestinian Prisoners Society said.
Demonstrators lit candles in solidarity with the Gaza Strip and called for an end to Israel's 45-year old occupation, PPS director Nasser Qus said.
Undercover Israeli forces raided Beit Hanina on Sunday evening and detained youth during a gathering in solidarity with Gaza.
A Ma'an reporter said forces were backed by six Israeli military vehicles and Israeli police in the East Jerusalem neighborhood.
On Saturday, dozens of Palestinians were injured and at least 10 arrested during West Bank demonstrations against Israel's offensive on the Gaza Strip.
