Iraq, The Big Pie

The Islamic regime in Iran facilitated the US invasion in Afghanistan to get rid of Afghanistan's Sunni Jihadists regime (Taliban).
Just to remind my readers, the Anti-Taliban Northern Alliance was supported by Iran and the US to fight against al-Qaeda and Taliban. the pro-Iran and pro-US leader, Masoud Shah was assassinated by Taliban during the US invasion.
After the British-US Iraq's invasion, Iran was the major player in Iraq by supporting the Shiite pro-US politicians and uprooting the secular parties in Iraq, which indeed reinforced the Sunni-Shiite conflict in the region.
Nouri Al-Maliki, the Iraqi PM is strongly supported by both the US and Iran. The question is why?
The Answer is: Obama's administration needed to withdraw from Iraq and this action required stability in Iraq, meanwhile, the foreign Petroleum companies (such as Exxon mobil, and British Petroleum) have already achieved the goal of invasion by acquiring Iraq's Petroleum resources . Meanwhile, The Iranians reinforced their shiite corrupted politicians in Iraq.

It is not uncommon to remember the role of the Arab dynasties in the Gulf who assisted the British-American invasion of Iraq. They realized too late how silly they were when they allowed the US invasion.
Now a days, Arab Gulf monarchies side-by-side with Turkey support the Sunni corrupted politicians like Eyad Allawi, the head of the Sunni Al-Iraqiyya Parliamentary bloc, and more importantly, the first post-invasion Iraqi prime minister.
