With the results in from all 32 council areas, the "No" side won with 2,001,926 votes over 1,617,989 for "Yes", according to BBC.

Generally speaking, old citizens and pro-Union parties have succeeded to keep connexion with England, as part of UK. However, most of independency voters were youths and Scottish nationalists.
